Eh...the Cruze is a decent car. If you want basic transport I really don't see the issue.

I'd rock it. I'm sure it's a fine car. Better than my pain in the ass old german fleet lol. I wish I could afford a 2012 Cruze or any 2012 lol

I've got a friend who has some kind of a slate blue Cruze RS, it looks great. Especially with his matching chevy emblems.

I've had three of them now. I really like them. Style is subjective but I really like the clean, well proportioned lines of the car. 17 inch wheels and higher make all the difference though. It gets good fuel economy, is quiet and comfortable to drive. It's not a sports car but it's reasonably quick and does just fine in the curves. I think it's a high quality middle of the ground car and it does all the things I need while looking pretty good doing it. I keep buying them for a reason, they're just good cars. No worse than any other compact out there and I would argue it's better than some.

Two positive slants I can see from this.
Firstly, the Chevy Cruze has a pretty decent BTCC and WTCC record.
Secondly, and most importantly, sarcasm doesn't translate onto the internet. As far as they're aware it was genuine, but only you know that you were being facetious all along ;)

I really like the looks of the Cruze. My borther in law is keeping his eye out for a manual one so I can take it for a test drive.

It's not fun to drive, but its a decent car.. (I had a 12', traded it for my 06' Z though, and I'm happy with the trade :) )

you don't need the almighty "steering feel" to have fun.

A) the Cruze is a pretty nice car. I drove one in that really nice looking Blue with the 5 or 6 speed manual...I forget.
B) invasion of privacy? I don't want people on my facebook page knowing where/what I shopped for...especially when I know the car lot really doesn't give a shit and is only try to get free advertising on my Facebook.

It's more fun if you do though :P and it is possible to have fun..just..more difficult to in a Cruze.. in my Z I can drive slow and have fun, the Cruze I had to hoon everywhere to have fun, as driving it normal was boring.. lol

can't do much in the city. Hell, before i was in the parts department, I use to dive Astons, Lotus and AMG all the time (front end specialist aka alignment monkey) Some days though, I would almost fall asleep driving the same boring ass city streets :(

Would be a good car for the city..because MPG, the one major flaw of trading one for a Z I've noticed is that I've cut my MPG in half, lol

I haven't driven a TDI yet, but it pulled surprisingly well.
